Meet a current Marguerite scholar:
I will be a TMCC freshman majoring in Public Health, earning my EMT certification.
The job I will be carrying over is with Scout Reach (Scouting America), where I serve as a program aide, providing a program to underserved communities. I will likely stay involved in scouting. I work around 6 hours a week.
In high school (most likely carrying into college), I was involved in Girl Scouts, Scouting America, and Sea Scouts. I was also a member of the Girl Scouts Northern Nevada Advisory Board, HOSA, Coral Academy's Drama Club, Reno Housing Authorities Start Smart, and an active volunteer with Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation, Girl Scouts Scout Reach, and others.
I plan to be a Wilderness Paramedic, working in rural areas such as summer camps or with private companies. I want to help and take care of others; I am here to serve.
